All Nippon Airways (ANA) is a Japanese airline headquartered in Tokyo it operates an extensive domestic and international network, with scheduled service to over 50 domestic destinations and 25 international destinations across Europe, South Asia, East Asia and North America.

Passengers in ANA economy class can expect at least two meals services on most long haul routes. There are choices of Japanese or Western meal options and the airline has collaborated with a number of food producers to create exceptional inflight meals in economy class.

There are some self-service snacks available on North America (except Honolulu), Europe, Sydney, and Indian routes. Expect traditional Arare rice crackers,  fruit and Aromatic Kabosu which is made from sun-drenched kabosu a green citrus fruit drink that is sour and sweet. Self-service snack bars onboard also offer fruits, Arare rice crackers, and other Japanese style snacks.

ANA Expands International Flight Meal Pre-Order Service

ANA is expanding its international flight meal pre-order service to include two new options: “Quick & Light Meal” and “No Thank you Option.” The new options are designed to reduce food waste and give passengers more flexibility. Passengers can pre-order their meals up to 24 hours before their flight.

Here are the new options:

  • Quick & Light Meal: A lighter meal option that includes a salad, sandwich, and dessert. Available on select European and Asian flights in first and business class.
  • No Thank you Option: Allows passengers to skip the main meal altogether. Available on all international flights in all classes.

Beverages

The following beverages are available in ANA Economy Class.

Kabosu, Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Tomato Juice, Coke, 7UP, Sparkling Water, Milk, Green Tea, Hojicha, Coffee, Decaf. Coffee, Tea and Corn Soup.

Alcohol may include Red/White wine, Beers from Japan, Chivas Regal Whisky, Beefeater Gin, Vodka.

Paid Meal Upgrade

Passengers in economy and premium economy class can choose to upgrade their meals on all flights from Japan (except to Vladivostok). You can select a paid exclusive dining meal (Japanese/Western cuisine) which will include an appetiser, main meal and dessert. Desserts are created by Pierre Herme Paris on flights ex Tokyo.

PREMIUM ECONOMY

In addition to the standard economy class drinks offering, passengers in premium economy class will enjoy drinks from the business class cabin menu. Options such as Champagne, Wine, Sake, Plume Wine, and Shochu are available on most flights. Meal options in premium economy class include Japanese or Western options.

SPECIAL MEALS

Special meal orders can be made with ANA directly online here, through their reservations department, or your travel agent. If you booked with a travel agent, you must order your meal with your travel agent. Note that special meals are not always available on all flight routes, and some can only be ordered on the phone.

The following meals can be ordered and require at least 24 hours notice*.

*Free from Allergies- Order at least 24 hours before departure from Japan, or 48 hours for flights to Japan.

BUSINESS CLASS

Business-class passengers can now pre-order a Japanese or Western meal for the first meal service on all ANA flights. You can order your meal here, it’s not possible to request this on the telephone, and you can not pre-order a meal on late-night supper/light meal service flights. Meals must be booked at least 24 hours before departure.

ANA has recently introduced new inflight meals from restaurants and hotels for passengers flying to Japan from Los Angeles, Delhi, Mumbai, Singapore, and Taipei.

USA

Passengers can enjoy creative dishes created by chef and founder, Joachim Splichal of the Patina Restaurant Group.

INDIA

Passengers can enjoy creative dishes created by chef Amit Chowdhury from the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

SINGAPORE

Passengers can enjoy dishes from the famed Italian restaurant Basilico. Meals have been created by Executive Chef Angelo Ciccone, who is originally from Locorotondo in southern Italy.
