ECONOMY CLASS

Avianca meals and drink offerings will vary depending on your flight time, with inflight menus changing every three months. During the coronavirus pandemic, the airline has simplified the inflight service to reduce interaction between crew and passengers. All meals provided will comply with health and hygiene standards.

On flights originating in Colombia, the airline uses fresh locally produced vegetables and fruits and other local ingredients. Flight times will determine precisely what meal types will be offered inflight.

Normally the airline will offer the following inflight service.

Domestic Flights

Colombia, Peru and Ecuador – Non-alcoholic beverages.

International Flights

Breakfast- 3:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Lunch / Dinner – 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.

Snacks- Available on flights of over 5 hours.

SPECIAL MEALS

Due to the pandemic, it’s only possible at the moment to order Kosher meals on flights ex Bogota, all other special meals are not available until further notice.

Are available to pre-order on all international flights longer than one hour. Meals require at least 24 hours notice to order, and you can choose from the following meal options:

Asian Vegetarian, Baby Meal, Bland Meal, Child Meal, Fruit Platter, Gluten-Free, Hindu, Kosher, Low Calorie, Low Fat, Low Salt, Muslim Meal, Diabetic, No Lactose, Oriental Vegetarian, Raw Meal, Seafood Meal, Vegetarian, Vegetarian Jain, Vegetarian Lacto-Ovo.

BUSINESS CLASS

On long haul flights expect an after take-off welcome drink service with choices of water, coconut lemonade, orange juice and sparkling wine. Inflight wine choices will include at least two red and two white wine options, and main meal options will include red meat, fish, chicken or vegetarian options. On longer flights there is an option to express dine, or you can experience everything course by course.
