Brussels airlines meals are free on long haul flights and may be included on short haul flights depending on what fare type you purchased. The airline offers Belgium Star Chef dining for long haul business class customers, selected pre-order meals for business class customers, free meals on select routes within Europe (see below), and a buy on board program on select flights within Europe. Below you will find information on Long Haul and Short Haul Business and Economy class dining, the Buy on Board inflight menu is right at the bottom of this article.

LONG HAUL

ECONOMY CLASS

All passengers receive complimentary meals and drinks on all long haul services. A choice of hot meals along with a fresh salad, dessert and cheese is made available to all customers onboard.

BUSINESS CLASS

The airline runs their ‘Taste of Belgium’ program in business class where customers can enjoy dishes that use local regional produce. On flights to Africa, North America and India expect creations from Chef Stéphanie Thunus who runs the Au Gré du Vent restaurant in her hometown of Seneffe. SHORT HAUL

ECONOMY CLASS

Brussels Airlines have a great buy on board menu that has been created in collaboration with Foodmaker. It won an industry award for “Best Catering Innovation’ in 2017 at the Onboard Hospitality Awards. The Foodmaker onboard menu is mostly locally sourced, mostly organic and a focus on freshness. Flights across Europe (including Morocco, Russia, Israel, Armenia, Egypt, Cape Verde and Tunisia) will feature this this menu offering and note that hot food is only available for sale on flights over 2 hours in duration.

Flex&Fast ticket holders will enjoy a meal or snack depending on what time of the day your flight is:

Breakfast until 10:00 am
Snack between 10:00 am & 11:30 am
Meal between 11:30 am & 1:30 pm
Snack between 1:30pm & 5:30pm
Meal between 5:30pm & 8:30 pm
Snack as from 8:30pm

For Check&Go and Light&Relax passengers, there are snacks and drinks for sale onboard. However, Light&Relax passengers that fly to/from Brussels on a Brussels Airlines operated flight are entitled to a free drink (soft drink, tea or coffee). Just show your boarding pass or any other documentation that proves your connection.

BUSINESS CLASS

The business class meal concept on Brussels Airlines has changed on European flights. Now passengers can choose from an unlimited choice of all items from the onboard Foodmaker menu. Other options to note include:

Champagne on request
Before 10am: Breakfast tray
Complimentary drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
