Air Asia Ramps up Inflight offerings

AirAsia, Inc.the low-cost airline based in Manila has taken additional measures with regards to the sale of inflight meals during the pandemic. While AirAsia’s award-winning Santan meals will still be served onboard, guests will need to pre-book their hot meals online.

The purchase of meals will be temporarily put on hold to lessen physical interactions, while cabin crew handling food are required to wear extra protective gear for added safety.

Pre-booking of meals and baggage may be done via the “Manage My Booking” tab on airasia.com at least 24 hours before departure.

Onboard food and beverages are still available but limited to pre-packed snack options and water. Sales of non-food items and merchandise is limited.

For the airline flying safely not only means the assurance of upholding the safety and wellbeing of guests, but also the provision of the highest level of service at affordable rates.

The cost of the meals are P140 and include a free drink. The airline assures customers that the Santan meals are produced and packed hygienically following strict food safety requirements.
