ECONOMY CLASS

El al meals in economy, premium and business class, are overseen by Chef Segev Moshe one of Israel’s leading chefs. All meals on El Al are included in the price of your ticket.

Economy class passengers on on long haul flights will enjoy an aperitif before their meal, followed by the meal service. Longer flights will offer a choice of two meal choices, with shorter flights offering one option.

SPECIAL MEALS

All meals served on El Al are Kosher, and a certificate is provided. However, if you require a particular meal, you can request it from the airline.

It’s best to advise the call centre or your travel agent of the four-letter code in brackets below when ordering your meal. The latest possible ordering times are listed below, however, you should order as early as possible to ensure delivery.

Latest Ordering Times

For flights from Tel Aviv, Monday to Friday up to 12 hours before departure time.

For flights departing from Tel Aviv on Sunday up to 42 hours before departure time.

For flights to Tel Aviv, Monday to Friday, up to 24 hours before departure time.

For flights to Tel Aviv on Sunday up to 48 hours before departure time.

For flights from all destinations on Saturday up to 48 hours before departure time.

For flights to Tel Aviv on Monday to Friday from Mumbai and Hong Kong, strictly kosher meals, strictly kosher children’s meals and strictly kosher fish meals need to be ordered up to 36 hours before departure.

BUSINESS CLASS

Business class passengers can expect to see printed inflight menus, welcome drinks, after take off drinks and a choice of three main meal options. Yarden an Israeli sparkling wine is offered, and the inflight wine choices include a range of Israeli wines (three red and three white options).

Inflight beverages include a range of Whiskey, Aperitifs, Beers, as well as soft drinks, juice, and hot drinks.

All meals served are Kosher and a certificate is provided.

Boutique beer is gaining popularity in Israel and passengers in the premium cabins of El Al can enjoy Alexander Blonde, which is a light ale suited to the Israeli weather.
