There have been limited changes to the onboard service on Emirates across all cabins, the most significant changes are in first and business class cabins. The dine on-demand service is still offered.
However, the meal options and drinks have changed. All inflight service will be presented on trays, appetisers and mains are served on one tray, while dessert, and cheese/fruit on another tray.
Most food will come pre-plated, and individual items will be wrapped in plastic, real cutlery is still used in premium cabins.
Wine in business class has been reduced to one red/one white option, and in-seat minibars have been removed; instead, you can select an on-demand snack service.
In economy class, it’s still possible to pre-order special meals, and the service is almost identical to pre-COVID days.
Emirates airline meals are included in the price of your ticket, and all passengers will enjoy a range of complimentary non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. All meals onboard Emirates flights are Halal.
Since 2006 Emirates has spent over USD$700 million on its inflight wine program. Wines are sourced from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Spain and the USA. Emirates has one of the most extensive beverage menus inflight.

Breakfast will offer two choices on medium-haul services; long haul services will include at least two main meal offerings plus a snack service, short-haul flights will offer just one meal service.

Beverages in the economy class cabin when flying Emirates include options like Soft drinks, Juices, Tea/Coffee, Wine/Beer.
Spirits may include Amarula Fruit Cream, Bacardi Carta Blanca, Dewar’s ‘White Label’, Cointreau, Hennessy VS, Hakkaisan Seishu (Japan routes), Russian Stanard Original Vodka, Beefeater Gin and Jack Daniel’s.
All special meals should be ordered at least 24 hours before departure. Note that children between 2 and 12 years old automatically receive a Child Meal, and infants under two years old will also receive a baby meal automatically. If you need to order an Asian Vegetarian or Western Vegetarian child meal, you must call or order it online.

Business Class meals on Emirates are presented on Royal Doulton fine bone china with Robert Welch cutlery. Passengers on medium-haul flights should expect two meal services, a light bites menu offering an appetiser as well as three hot snack options and dessert, and a main meal service offering continental, full breakfast and express option.
