Kosher Meals

The KSML or Kosher Meal is a meal where the food is chosen, prepared and served in accordance with Jewish religious guidelines. The meals are packaged in double wrapping which allows the meals to be heated in the aircraft oven that is non-kosher.

Kosher meals will feature meat from animals that have split hooves and chew the cud, fish will have fins and scales. Expect items such as Poultry, Beef, Lamb, Liver, Sweet Bread, Eggs, Cheese and Dairy Products.

Meals will exclude pork or pork derived products, shellfish, meat and serving of dairy products together is prohibited.

Kosher meals can be difficult to order, and may not always be available on all flights operated by airlines. They require a lot of time, so plan ahead as many airlines require up to 72 hours notice for orders.

This is due to the fact that kosher kitchens are not located at all airport catering kitchens, and the meals need to be ordered in. Please also note a number of airlines do not offer Passover meals, it’s best to check with each airline individually.

If you need to check on a specific airline view the compagnies aériennes section pour en savoir plus sur la compagnie aérienne avec laquelle vous voyagez.
