Tap Portugal meals aim to showcase the flavors and tastes of Portugal for all passengers to experience. The airline offers a range of special meals to choose from on select flights and may have limited meal services depending on your flight time and destination.

ECONOMY CLASS

Passengers on most flights will be served either a hot meal, cold light meal, cold meal or snack. On flights between Lisbon and Faro/Porto, there is no service at all whilst on flights to Madeira and the Azores hot meal or cold meal will be offered.

SPECIAL MEALS

The following special meals can be ordered on Tap Portugal flights. They include: Asian vegetarian, Baby Meal, Child Meal, Bland, Diabetic, Fruit, Gluten Free, Hindu Meal, Kosher, Low Calorie, Low Fat, Low Salt, Muslim, Lactose Free, Seafood, Vegetarian, Vegetarian with diary, Special Meal

The above special meals can be ordered on all intercontinental Tap Portugal flights. However on domestic flights in Portugal (to / from Madeira or the Azores) and most European flights passengers can only order: Diabetic, Gluten Free, Muslim, Vegetarian, Kosher, Child Meal and Special Meal. (Business class customers can order any special meals)

For flights departing from Lisbon special meal requests must be made at least 6 hours before departure. For everywhere else requests should be made at least 24 hours before departure. To find out how to order your special meal click here.

BUSINESS CLASS

The airline offers typical Portuguese dishes prepared fresh and designed by Chef Vitor Sobral. There are new soups to sample on long haul flights and new Portuguese desserts to finish off your meal. A new breakfast offering cold cuts and various cheeses, fruits and yoghurt are currently being offered on long haul services also.
